Information Advocacy is now Community Magic. We’re offering free
training in http://Freecycle.org and
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org to people who want to help their
community members who can’t use these services for themselves.

We will be holding the next training and practice session:
Date: Saturday, August 9th
Time: 11 AM
Place: NTR, 1524 Brandywine Street

If you’d like to learn how to get free stuff, and you’re fairly
proficient at using the Web and your email account, come out and see
all the great stuff you could be getting for your friends and family.
Oh, and Freecycle also lets you give away the things you don’t want
but can’t put in the trash. Someone out there might want it!
Nothing gets sold on Freecycle. It’s just for giving or getting
things for free.
Craigslist is much better known and far more extensive. It offers
opportunities to buy and sell stuff, find or post jobs and housing.
It’s also a great place to find other people with common interests.
We expect to have trainings like this at 11 AM on Saturday August
16th and August 23rd.
No sessions will be held August 30th or September 6th.
The schedule of trainings will resume on or after September 13th and
may be held at more locations around the City.
