00:29:55 Ian Lewis: FOR A NEW BEGINNING John O'Donohue In out-of-the-way places of the heart, Where your thoughts never think to wander, This beginning has been quietly forming, Waiting until you were ready to emerge. For a long time it has watched your desire, Feeling the emptiness growing inside you, Noticing how you willed yourself on, Still unable to leave what you had outgrown. It watched you play with the seduction of safety And the gray promises that sameness whispered, Heard the waves of turmoil rise and relent, Wondered would you always live like this. Then the delight, when your courage kindled, And out you stepped onto new ground, Your eyes young again with energy and dream, A path of plenitude opening before you. Though your destination is not yet clear You can trust the promise of this opening; Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning That is at one with your life's desire. 00:30:02 Ian Lewis: Awaken your spirit to adventure; Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk; Soon you will home in a new rhythm, For your soul senses the world that awaits you. 00:35:37 Leo Jacoby: Ian, thank you for that bit of Celtic wisdom. 00:36:29 Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net: Love John O'Donohue, a great blessing. :) 00:38:25 Leo Jacoby: https://www.sacredsoundinspirations.co.uk/sacred-drumming/ 00:40:23 Diane S: oh gosh, gonna have to step away so - hope I can maybe see messages from this meeting and will work out my technology!! In this city, there are at least a dozen varieties of Christian communities, all of them clustered around the "Christian Quarter" of the Old City. Not all follow the same calendar, so we rarely have a year when all the churches are in Holy Week together. But still, many lines get crossed when the bands march. Drums dominate and come in various sizes, some so large their mighty sound reminds me of other times I have experienced the power of the drum up close. Once this happened when I stood close to a circle of Native American men pounding an immense drum on the mall in Washington. The other time was quite different: I sat with my son in The Village Vanguard in New York City. 01:24:09 Eric Thompson: Drum circles around the world, changing consciousness one beat at a time.. 01:24:11 Leo Jacoby: We were so close to jazz drummer Elvin Jones that we could hear his breathing like that of someone engaged in a mighty physical effort. And his drums! With drums like any of these, the depth of the sound and the rhythms are less in the ear than in the blood. So it is when one of these Holy Week drums passes close on Good Friday evening. ....Such rituals, done with care and strength year after year, are, like the drums of Good Friday here in Damascus, meant to vibrate inside us, identify us to ourselves and to each other and to the world. Editor's note: This reflection was originally published in the April 2009 issue of Celebration. 01:26:14 Sébastien Roussel-Konan: We need to found a company that gives people jobs to make this more powerful. Now, I know this sounds crazy since most of you are retired and we can pay them through negative interest loans. 01:28:03 Lynne Silvia O'Connor: Where the soles/souls connect with the Earth. 01:29:51 Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net: Seabass, We could use money to manifest Peace In Everything, Everything With Peace. 01:31:52 Nancy: Kurt, ‘Seabass’ is too funny!! 01:32:16 Lynne Silvia O'Connor: I appreciated this astrologers introduction to the Lion’s Gate https://youtu.be/BNpyjpen4Oo 01:34:19 Lynne Silvia O'Connor: FYI L am not connected to the site I posted. 01:35:16 Eric Thompson: Thanks Lynne, will check it out 01:36:26 Sébastien Roussel-Konan: We sure could, Kurt. Most who do bad where just caught up in their disadvantaged environment or just caught up in the moment of shortsighted ideological values. Would take more than just money though, Would take money and teachings so that they would not only have food and shelter, but also something constructive to do. 01:38:58 Eric Thompson: Have a lovely day all!!
