Forwarding this as - one of my favourite organisations for many years!! They just do WONDERFUL cartoons - gave me the idea for 'Let's do simple cartoons to spread the word on positive change and a new way etc'.
So, I suggest, watch the big new one first then............
Using the moment to add a link to another one too - re bottled water (8 mins) - REALLY BRILLIANT VIDEO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se12y9hSOM0
In fact, I started looking for the original cartoon but - it's 20 minutes so maybe too long. (However, I'll add it as it's really good - even tho - obviously preaching to the choir!!)

Anyway
Lots of love to Everyone

Dear Di,
In the Wai’anae Valley on the island of O’ahu, colonialism and an ensuing century of cultural shame nearly wiped out the sacred Hawaiian practice of cultivating taro -- until the community came together to bring it back. Today, we’re honored to share their story with you. https://action.storyofstuff.org/go/75176?t=62&akid=271324%2E538651%2ElMP7FT
The World We Need https://action.storyofstuff.org/go/75177?t=63&akid=271324%2E538651%2ElMP7FT , a new book from The New Press, offers a vivid look at the inspiring frontline activists protecting America’s communities against environmental degradation and racism. Their strategies for saving lives, protecting land, and creating economic opportunities provide a model for activists everywhere.
Now, The Story of Stuff Project has partnered with Grist and The New Press to produce a short video series highlighting four of these phenomenal activists, starting with Hawai’i’s Eric Enos, co-founder of Ka’ala Farm https://action.storyofstuff.org/go/75178?t=64&akid=271324%2E538651%2ElMP7FT .
Come along with us to learn more about Ka’ala Farms and the fight to restore the land, the water, and the culture.
In solidarity always,
Sage Lenier, Communications Associate
