Hi Shannon – Hilary, Beth, Marilyn and I are meeting January 4 to take a pulse check on the emerging design. The actual after chat dialogues will be highly organic and iterative based on the ideas and reflections that emerge. Given the need to be acute, awake and present in the experience, there is little need to do any advance planning other than being ready with the zoom capability to move people easily in and out of break out rooms.

Thanks for extending the invitation to participate in Cities Rising to a wider and more diverse audience. See you on January 4th after my pulse check with the conveners.

Blessings;
Lesley

Subject: Seeking alignment in Cities Rising to best serve your / our intentions

Dear Marilyn, Beth & Lesley,

Organizing what you desire for Cities Rising is better with your input so we can align our actions - January 11 is only 2 weeks away!

We invite you to meet with us (the Cities Rising ChatAction people), to hear your vision and to share ours - our imaginations have been sparked! With your collaboration we will be better able to serve your / our intentions - and the outcomes!

What is your vision? What questions/kind of interaction do you expect in each AfterChat?

  * Monday: Notice your relationship with your city/community and your learning edges – the places outside of your comfort zone.
  * Tuesday: Experience your city /community as a living system of complex, adaptive dynamics.
  *   Wednesday: Discover and explore the governing principles and structures that best support the local conditions of your city/community functions;
  * Thursday: Generate ideas for your “civic practice" that will enable you to use the tensions in your city /community to shape your service to your city/community so that it can best serve you
  * Friday: Notice how you are mobilizing with regenerative action in ways that enable relationships of reciprocity with, within and from cities/communities.

We are working on and setting up Zoom practice; have already sent invitations to organizations and people based on what was received, and want to include Cities and stakeholders. Can we invite the diversity of faces and experiences, intergenerational BIPOC, underseen, underheard, unrecognized and underserved members of our networks and communities? If not now, when?

On the subject of when... when can you meet with us? We yearn to be at your service!

That’s the ChatAction section… I’ve got more to offer/ask -

I am a priestess of Gaia. She gave me both a Promise of Peace and a Plan for Humanity: Our Heart Gardens<http://ourheartgardens.com> (“Oh-Gs”), shared community gardens that, like the hearts of a worm, support sections of the body. In the case of the Body of Humanity, those sections are the communities within our cities - organs of the Body of the One we are… Your presentations lead me to feel you will understand what I’m saying, and see an alignment.

Have you considered Malini’s questions (emailed previously & listed below)? We have: my BFF and I looked through the Oh-Gs lens to see how establishment of a network of shared indoor community gardens will serve Humanity and the integral parts that comprise the One that We are. This is the recording<https://youtu.be/siXE1dQol2E> of that discussion (presence for the Season!)

Are we:

1. Designing cities to empower children?

2. Designing cities for inclusion of persons with disabilities or differently abled people?

3. Designing cities to be safe from violence, arson and dacoity?

4. Designing cities to be disaster prepared?

5. Designing cities for resource optimization?
6. Designing cities to uphold local cultural traditions?

Bless you, and all you do...
