[ChatAction] About the five questions to move into action

Just thinking about the first question: 

What is the crisis that needs to be solved?

This is a very complicated and huge question – with a vast number of “moving parts” and individually-identifiable facets.  In this context, one dimension of the crisis might be a natural human tendency to oversimplify the answer.  The fact is, we have a vastly complex problem threatening life on earth.  Therefore we need a vastly complex – though highly integrated and “functioning as one” – solution to that problem.

Can 8 billion human beings – or an influential leading-edge of a few million at first – come into highly-informed and illuminated cooperative resonance (so as to best work together in a co-creative way when the answers are not all that simple or clear)?  

Can that group “divvy up” all the issues across the planet in some appropriate and graceful way, based on things like skill  and experience, motivation and location, and create an integrated system capable of responding – not only in a spiritual way led by Oneness and the Spirit of Wholeness – but also in a way that is grounded in advanced science (where many answers must come from) and advanced engineering (required to coordinate this enterprise)?

My tentative answer to the question “What is the crisis that needs to be solved?”

The systems and laws and governance principles and economic practices (add to this list) created by human civilization across the full global range of Planet Earth are failing significantly in a very large number of ways.

*	They are inconsistent and often work against one another
*	They often have extremely dangerous side-effects or consequences
*	They are leading to deadly wars, rage and hatred, the poisoning of our ecology and agriculture, the impoverishment and ruin of millions or billions of lives and the destruction of our fundamental life-support system
*	They are leading to very dangerous political consequences, such as the rise of dictators and the collapse of democracies

This entire business is going to take top-level spiritual insight and inspiration, along with university-grade engineering and science, cooperation and energetic participation from business, appreciation and support from major governments, and a strongly positive and illuminated “can-do” spirit that rises to the occasion with sustained inspiration and a high degree of skill.  These skills must include diplomatic skill, as complex and explosive issues are negotiated into balanced compromise that put the welfare of the whole ahead of individual profit or advantage.  This is obviously a huge step and a major paradigm shift – and almost certainly mandatory.

Can we rise to this occasion in beauty, truth and wholeness -- or are we just going to explode?

As people consider their answers, I’d like to see some recognition and appreciation of the map/diagram posted by Cynthia Bledsoe.

This is a network to support the space station.

How do we build a similar but more powerful network to support Planet Earth and all Life on it?

As we discussed in today's HR afterchat , that I would send out a document to get responses to the questions Nirmalan had posted.

Those 5 profound questions to Bruce's post about taking action triggered an immediate response from me.

The best way to take what Nirmalan has triggered to the next level was to think about each of these questions and respond with what our minds and hearts came up with.

I request stan to please include this link in the once daily email that he sends out to the chatpeople group, requesting them to please share with us their valuable response. We need to include everyone . Have all voices heard.
