It's in everyone of us
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes,
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why,
It's in everyone of us
By and by
It's in everyone of us
To be wise,
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes,
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why,
It's in everyone of us
By and by It's in everyone of us
I just remembered
It's like I been sleeping for years,
I'm not awake as I can be
But my seeing is better,
I can see
Through the tears,
I've been realising that,
I bought this ticket
And watching only half of the show,
There is scenery and lights
And a cast of thousands,
Who all know
What I know,
And it's good
That it's so It's in everyone of us
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes,
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why,
It's in everyone of us
By and by,
It's in everyone of us
By and by

Thank you Shannon for the inspiration! What is the action required to act as one Consistentlywork from the Resilient value SetWhat is the expected impact of acting as one Shiftall of our actions to supporting Earth as she thrivesWhat is the outcome of acting as oneA healthy, vibrant, robust planetand a joyful, exuberant and creative humanityIs there a more efficient way to achieve the same outcome Notthat I can see at this momentWarmly,Kathryn

Is there a more efficient way to achieve the SAME outcome? - Nirmalan Dhas - http://planetaryguidance.org/ *** Interesting to see these questions – and with some obviously necessary apologies for attitude and intensity: In my opinion, this entire ChatAction HR Support project should be about these issues – pretty-much just as Nirmalan states them. Why are you wasting your time doing anything else? You guys should be looking at these questions – and forming answers – and developing a platform and method for collective activism based on those answers (instead, he said, of jumping with glee every day to the next shiny object) Read this. Burn it into your brain. Do you agree or disagree? “You guys should be looking at these questions – and forming answers – and developing a platform and method for collective activism based on those answers” Otherwise, he said, this discussion is one more distracted gesture in scatter-brained futility. Sorry for the push – but have no doubt. This is the raw life-force speaking. Get on the freaking train. ** Two points: - Some issues have arisen in my world which create and motivate a sense of high immediacy. So I am inclined to push pretty hard. - And – maybe surprisingly -- in the last couple of days I started sketching a comprehensive framework, kind of like a “book” – that addresses almost exactly these questions Nirmalan asks. His questions are practically the table of contents of what I wrote. He outlines the major issues – and we need a team of activists with a reasonable level of mental competence to take the constructive activism – actually doing stuff – that these co-creative answer imply. Are we capable of this – or are we just going to get excited about the next new-age person or thing we didn’t know about yet? So, again, sorry for the snarky edge to my attitude. My world is on fire, so I am in a hurry. ** So yes – thank you for these questions, Nirmalan. I think the biggest challenge we face is systematic fragmentation and the distraction that goes with it. We must act through holism and integrated vision – yet what we are actually doing is skipping merrily across the field entertained by the next fragment. How do you put out a fire? You get organized, and you use everything available – your knowledge (skill), your tools (firetrucks, airplanes, axes), your resources (water) – and you put them together into coherent action, and with luck and grace and energetic teamwork maybe you are successful and the elementary school (or entire town, like Paradise California) does not burn down. Is that a hard concept? No. Are we confused about this? Or are we actually not interested in coherent action? Maybe to be a little more reasonable and respectful, I should say or admit that this is very big thinking and a meaningful and organized response is not likely to pop out of a hat. It takes time to build a powerful and meaningful organization, and it almost certainly takes money. Maybe I should calling a townhall meeting, or showing up at activist conferences. Is this a “religious” vision I am carrying? Maybe yes. It’s about ONE – which is the core idea of religion. But ONE integrates MANY – and without integration all you have is scattered fragments – perhaps arguing amongst themselves into a state of paralyzed gridlock, like we are doing today in the United States Congress. A fire department in gridlock. So how do we blow our way through this? We need a better design (as per Nirmalan’s suggestions) – and maybe an extremely powerful voice of spirit that sees the vision and can excite the activism. What I would say is – right now we probably do have the design (answers to the questions) – but the raw power – might not be available. That’s the scary part. Anybody up for dealing with any of this? I would say – that if I could have anything in the world, my highest dream and hope and prayer come true – it would be a circle of people who cared about these issues, and were capable of showing up and staying on point, and doing their part. A really cool volunteer fire department – maybe with some money-raising capacity. Hi again. I just now flipped on the TV here, to the PBS New Hour – and the host was interviewing fabled filmmaker David Attenborough. In his last words, in answer to a question from the interviewer about whether he is a “optimist”, and speaking of what to him is very obviously an acute global crisis, he said very emphatically “If we are going to solve it WE MUST ACT AS ONE!” That’s my mantra as well. Don’t screw around with lesser ideas, it’s a waste of time on a dangerously sluggish learning curve. His Wikipedia page states that he is an agnostic. We can strongly and absolutely assert ONE and unity, without being hung up in religion. Or – because it is a very plausible argument – we can vitalize and rejuvenate religion – it can be pretty good stuff when it’s tuned in. Tuned up the right way, it could be a major global power-vector for aligning collaborative work across all cultures and traditions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Attenborough Oh, and now on KCET, the oriental news program NHK is saying that “Collaboration provides a path out of the pandemic”. People working together in smoothly coordinated harmony. Where does that resonant understanding come from? I think it comes from people getting cool and real. Poor people always figure it out first. They have to love each other to stray alive. Arrogant backbiting is a luxurious feature of too-comfortable cultures. Hi People – Thought you might find this graphic interesting. This emerged a couple of years ago when I was working closely with a group called “World Summit” – I think Troy Wiley drew or designed much of this, and I have always really liked it. This, too, is a “12 sectors of the wheel” model, and it shows the all-important convergence process as categorical differences tend to merge into unity. And of course, it builds on the famous butterfly/metamorphosis images. I’m inclined to diagram this kind of social transformation in much more detail – but it’s great to have a good image of the big picture. I don’t if I have seen an image I like better. <image001.png> Bruce SchumanSanta Barbara CA USAbruceschuman at cox.net / 805-705-9174www.origin.org --
