Oh, and PS – sorry, this NHK News Program is now featuring a story about anti-nuclear activists in Japan honoring Hiroshima and Nagasaki – featuring this elderly man who just died a few years ago, who was half-incinerated by the a-bomb, and had pictures of his back as a young man with all the skin burned off.  This guy had a tremendous will to live and served that cause – again, in resonant collaboration with many other activists, showing up everywhere and inspiring people.  My hero.

Thought you might find this graphic interesting.

 

This emerged a couple of years ago when I was working closely with a group called “World Summit” – I think Troy Wiley drew or designed much of this, and I have always really liked it.

 

This, too, is a “12 sectors of the wheel” model, and it shows the all-important convergence process as categorical differences tend to merge into unity.

 

And of course, it builds on the famous butterfly/metamorphosis images.

 

I’m inclined to diagram this kind of social transformation in much more detail – but it’s great to have a good image of the big picture.  I don’t if I have seen an image I like better.
